In the embedded dataset when you want to create and use a parameter, the best way is to create a template parameter first, the next step is to bind the data through cell element: select the corresponding cell in the designer, double click the cell to entering the data column-filter option( or you can entering the filer section from the right-hand pane- cell element - filter). So once you entered the filter set up a section, you can bind the available columns to the template parameter you just created.
